Carol Palansky ISA Certified Arborist / Horticulturist / Landscape Designer ![]()
I specialize in naturalistic landscapes. From the design to placement to care it is important to establish grace and structure. I begin with a knowledge and unique selection of plant material that I always share with my clients. Then, I take the time to research the site in order to gain an understanding of the working landscape. I know that maintenance is critical. For instance, pruning the proper way is extremely important to the growth habit, vigor, and overall health of the plant. As a trained professional, I selectively prune because one cut the wrong way can have a harmful effect on the plant. I always hand prune for definition. Regarding the best care possible for our beloved trees, as ISA Certified Arborist, I can answer the tough questions. I prefer to think “out of the box” when given the opportunity. I believe that stone, wood, glass, and metals have place and movement and are significant in my work. My inspiration comes from nature but my experience as a photographer and graphic artist allows for a more encompassing approach. With over 20 years experience in the green industry, I continue to bring my clients the latest trends and developments. Most clients prefer low maintenance; this too is achieved through my designs. In addition, my family and global community are valuable to me and that is why I follow best practices of organic growing and maintenance. Most of all, I aspire to create a healthy and individualized environment of lasting beauty!
